What is Expanded Options?
Expanded Options is a program that allows students that are in 11th or 12th grade to earn dual high school/college credits through a partnership with Southwestern Oregon Community College (SOCC).
Students must complete an educational learning plan through their high school and speak with their counselor about utilizing the program. They will earn high school credit towards their high school diploma as well as college credit that may transfer to a post-secondary program.
The purpose of an Expanded Options Program is to provide additional options to continue or complete their education while earning concurrent high school and college credits and to provide opportunities to eligible students to earn college credits without the cost of tuition, fees, and textbooks.
